While they both serve the same basic purpose, they excel at different aspects of that purpose. A car can carry more people, while a pickup can carry more cargo. I own a minivan because I need to be able to haul kids around, but I don't call someone else an idiot because he has a two-seat pickup.

I wouldn't say that. In the end only a small percentage of people will be using pirated games. What these hackers did was irresponsible and it will damage Sony, but most people are honest.

It's more like if i had all my banking info secured in a good safe, but some world-class safe-cracker gets in (GeoHot is clearly a world-class hacker who could probably get a very lucrative job in electronic security). This would be character art. A render is an image of the actual character model used in the game, i.e. it is "rendered" on a computer. At least as I understand the term.
Here's an example of how Move can improve games. A lot of games have sections where you control some flying thing. Sixaxis has been used for it to pretty good effect, but the Move controls will make parts like that much better.

When you're downloading stuff off PSN, if you go to turn off the system from the users section of the XMB it gives you the option to shutdown when downloads are complete. It even automatically installs anything before shutting down, and you can sign off from PSN while the stuff downloads.
Amazon has 3D Dot Game Heroes for $14.99 with free standard shipping, though it's not part of the buy-one-get-one-50%-off. I finally pulled the trigger on that purchase when I saw that.

This game looks like it would be really easy with the way the aiming works, though. It just looks like you practically can't miss. I would like them to release a demo so I could try it, but i suppose a lot of people would just play the demo and skip the purchase.
That's not necessarily the last boss. The game kind of forces you to the end when you've beaten all 5 archdemons (if I recall correctly, you can still go other places, but not increase you soul level), and the Boletarian Palace archdemon is probably the last one you'll beat, but it's not necessarily. There is also THE final boss.
Other info for new players: The game is tough, but many levels have shortcuts that you can open up so that you don't have to...
It will take a little while before you can afford good amounts of arrows, but most boss fights have safe spots where you can snipe from. Not to mention killing enemies before they even know you're even there.
For me, the scariest enemies (after Dragon God, most intimidating boss ever) were the giant ones from Valley of Defilement, but with the Thief's Ring and a few arrows, you can shoot at their breath through the darkness and whittle them down.
